Description
One year after the massacre of more than fifty people in Goma, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, victims' relatives pay tribute as they still waiting for justice to be done. Most of the victims belonged to a mystical-religious movement, Foi naturelle judaïque et messianique vers les nations (FNJMN), whose leader had called for a demonstration against Monusco (United Nations Mission in the DRC) before being arrested by the Congolese authorities. "Scars will remain in the hearts of the victims," says Bwinja Amani, the sect leader, "as long as the Congolese state has not yet taken care to repair the damage." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
