Images of abandoned cars, motorcycles, mini-buses, trucks and three-wheelers waiting to be scrapped at a site in a northwestern surburb of Nanjing city in the eastern province of China's Jiangsu. The site is located next to a driving school and a second hand car market yard. In July, China increased subsidies to encourage drivers to trade-in old, higher-emissions cars for EVs or lower-emissions vehicles.
