Description
The relatives of those killed in the seventeenth sinking of a migrant boat off the coast of Senegal are on the beach, in mourning, waiting for the bodies to be returned. When the dugout boat capsized while they were attempting to reach Europe, at least nine individuals perished. The pirogue was transporting about 200 migrants, according to locals who came to identify the dead rescued by the emergency services. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
