The head of Taiwan's top China policy body says the island "never surrenders" in the face of intensifying pressure from a "more aggressive" Beijing.
China claims democratic Taiwan as part of its territory and has never renounced the use of force to bring the self-ruled island under its control. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
