Description
"She pursued her ideals. She let everything and went to the Middle East hell. She was that much of an idealist," says Mehmet Suat Eygi, father of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi - a US-Turkish activist killed during a protest in the West Bank. Her death has led Turkey to open an investigation, they are also expected to take the case to the United Nations and push for an independent inquiry into her death. "Our State is not letting go of this arbitrary murder," says Mehmet, claiming to be "very pleased." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
