Description
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa welcomes Washington's support for two permanent seats for African nations on the UN Security Council, but says refusing them veto rights would make them "second-class" citizens. As he confirmed the GNU's (Government of National Unity) imperative to work together for the betterment of the country he explained that any new seat at the UN Security Council "must also enjoy the same right that the five permanent security members have," and he repeated South Africa's determination to push ahead with its case at the ICJ against Israel.
