Lebanese rescuers use heavy machinery to clear the rubble of a building hit the day before by an Israeli strike on Beirut's southern suburbs. "We can no longer move safely," says a resident of the neighbourhood where 16 Hezbollah fighters were killed in an Israeli air strike the previous day. Hezbollah said on September 21 that a second senior commander was among the fighters, highlighting the scale of the blow to its military leadership. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
