Miguel Angel Garcia walks between the evenly spaced pistachio trees now planted in fields where he used to grow grapes and grains. He's one of those in Spain turning to the nut, a more lucrative crop that can better cope with the droughts that have become more frequent and instense in the country. "The price of grapes," he explains, "didn't even pay for my wages, not even my work was paid".
