A crowd gathers in Istanbul in a show of support with the Palestinian people, on the first anniversary of the Israel-Hamas conflict. "If we, as the Islamic world, Islamic and Muslim States, would have given a bigger reaction, we could have scared our enemies. But we gave them an opportunity," claims a protester.
Hamas's October 7 attack on Israel resulted in the deaths of 1,205 people, according to an AFP tally based on Israeli official figures that include hostages killed in captivity.
