Hundreds gather in Copenhagen to mark the first anniversary of Hamas's deadly October 7 attack on Irsael, with the commemorations coming a few days after two explosions were heard near the city's Israeli embassy. "All of us are here today for the hostages," says Ulrik Guldbaek. Around the world, events have taken place to honour the victims of the attack, which resulted in the deaths of 1,206 people, according to an AFP tally based on official Israeli data. Israel's military response has killed at least 41,909 people in Gaza Strip, according to figures provided by the territory's health ministry and described as reliable by the United Nations.
