Fights between inmates from different gangs were commonplace in La Tolva prison in Honduras. Once the government took action and managed to establish some peace; some prisoners began to ask for employment opportunities to reintegrate into society. Now inmates attend morals and ethics classes inside the facility, and some even do work to help nearby schools. "It was a great honor to have been part of this, to visit the schools, and to live alongside other people," says inmate Maria.
