At night in Havana, a crowd sings urban reggaeton songs by Cuban singer El Taiger and lights up a wall with their cell phones, where candles and pictures pay tearful tribute to the artist. Jose Manuel Carvajal, known by his stage name El Taiger, died earlier in the day in Miami after being hospitalized in critical condition for a week with a gunshot wound to the head.
