EU leaders including French president Emnanuel Macron, Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, European commission leader Ursula von der Leyen as well as Jordan's King Abdullah II are greeted by Cypriot president Nikos Christodoulides in Paphos where the MED9 Summit is being held. The summit brings together leaders from nine countries arounf the Mediterranean Sea, among others, to discuss the ongoing wars in the Middle East, which they are affected by but have limited ability to influence.
