It "is truly a historic event," says Vincent Belloy, a specialist in the books and manuscript department at Christie's, as the famous auction house is about to auction off fifty original Lucky Luke comic strips for the first time. "The estimates of the comic strips in the sale range from 20,000 to 70,000 euros for the highest estimated page," explains Belloy in Geneva, but prices are expected to soar, as many collectors around the world have been waiting for this event for many years.
