"There were five very young victims, one of whom is between life and death," says Leonore Moncond'huy, Mayor of Poitiers, after police were called out on Thursday night in response to gunshots outside a restaurant in a working-class neighbourhood of western city Poitiers, in an apparent case of drug-related violence.
