French Trade Minister Sophie Primas says the window for negotiation over tariffs imposed on Chinese electric vehicles (EVs) by the EU remained open, during a visit to the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. As part of her visit Primas spoke to French businesses operating in China and Chinese officials regarding tariffs imposed on Cognac and Brandy. “It's a little too early to say what the outcome will be, but discussions and negotiations are more open than they were when I arrived,” Primas says.
