Description
Federal police director Andrei Rodrigues says during a press conference on the Supreme Court bomb attack in Brasilia that it was not an "isolated event" but is "linked to several other actions" currently under investigation. According to Rodrigues, "extremist groups are active" in Brazil.
On Wednesday night, a man apparently tried to bomb the Supreme Court, killing himself in the process. The attack came just days before a G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro and Chinese leader Xi Jinping's upcoming visit to Brasilia, the capital where the bombing took place.
