At Lima's Jorge Chavez International Airport, employees are putting the finishing touches on the terminal building and conducting tests on its systems ahead of its new inauguration on January 29, 2025. The mega airport, built at a cost of over 2,000 million US dollars, aims at handling about 40 million visitors, according to Lima Airport Partners (LAP), the company responsible for the airport.
