Description
Police in Georgia deployed water cannons to disperse peaceful pro-EU protesters who rallied for ninth consecutive day against the prime minister's decision to shelve EU accession talks. Riot police in full gear moved in to disperse the rally outside the parliament building, using watter cannons and making arrests as the crowd retreated a few meters from the area, an AFP reporter witnessed.
