More than two thousand runners participate in the annual Santa race in western Mexico, despite the best efforts of a 'Grinch' to block their path. Runners participate in 1, 5 and 10 kilometer races in Zapopan, Jalisco state, in an event that was founded in 2018. "I have been running it for five years now, and of all the races of the year it is the most fun because it preserves tradition and promotes Christmas spirit and family sports," says nurse Gabriela Molina.
