Syrians raise a large opposition flag in Umayyad Square in the heart of Damascus, a day after Islamist-led rebels took the Syrian capital and ousted President Bashar al-Assad, in a spectacular end to five decades of Baath party rule. "Thank God, after 13 years of displacement, now I'm in Umayyad Square to see my family... It's an indescribable joy," rejoices a resident. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
