Gathered on Ajaccio's seafront, hundreds of people watched Pope Francis pass by in his papamobile, just minutes after arriving in Corsica for a historic lightning visit. “He couldn't have given a better gift to all the Corsicans,” says Xavier Luiggi, who came from Toulon especially for the occasion. “Everyone's overjoyed, everyone's happy he's come,” he adds.
