A young man, Imad Abu Zanouna, resorted to growing his own vegetable garden, which he set up next to his tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, in an attempt to cope with food shortages and high vegetable prices. "I bought seeds and started growing them to save my family from hunger. In this way, we became self-sufficient and no longer needed to buy vegetables," explains Imad.
