Description
Images of injured people in hospital after Pakistan air strikes in an eastern border region of Afghanistan killed at least 46 people. The Taliban said it killed civilians, whilst a Pakistan security official said the bombardment had targeted "terrorist hideouts". The strikes are the latest spike in hostilities at the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, with tensions escalating since the Taliban seized power in 2021. IMAGES
