"The Government of the Republic of Paraguay (...) announces that the President of the Republic, Santiago Pena, has expressly recognized Mr. Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia as President-elect of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," says Paraguay's Foreign Minister Ruben Ramirez Lezcano during a press conference, in reference to the now-exiled opposition candidate.
