Description
The second-largest party in South Africa's unity government warns that its cooperation should not be taken for granted after President Cyril Ramaphosa signed a controversial land seizure bill without consultation. The Democratic Alliance (DA) joined the African National Congress in a government of unity (GNU) after the ANC lost its long-held majority in elections in May. DA leader John Steenhuisen tells a press conference that at the moment his party is "unable to promote jobs and economic growth" and is "treated as bystanders" in the government. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
