Description
The Paris region federation of tobacconists gathers to protest the sale of conterfeit cigarettes and contraband tobacco products. In particular, they denounce "mafias that are setting up shop" in neighborhoods where "insecurity" is on the rise. In their view, the development of counterfeit tobacco is a direct consequence of the rise in legal tobacco prices, coupled with competition from neighboring countries.
