Destroyed in the 19th century, the spire on the western facade of the 12th-century basilica of Saint-Denis is to be restored. During the works, the basilica north of Paris will remain open and a visitable worksite will be set up at the foot of the building so that the public can meet the craftsmen in charge of the project.
