"It is worth emphasising that we encountered Ohad who is resilient in spirit, inspiring, accompanied by a strong and supportive family, and we are convinced that they will assist us in the early stages of his return to healthy life," says Prof Gil Fire, deputy director of the Ichilov Medical center. Ohad Ben Ami, 56 years old, was released from Hamas captivity after being abducted on October 7, 2023 with his wife Raz Ben Ami from their home in kibbutz Beeri.
