In eastern Ukraine, US President Donald Trump's call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin sparks alarm among soldiers on the frontline. Trump has raised fears that the United States, Kyiv's most vital political and military backer, will hand over easy concessions to Putin after years of costly fighting.
