The city of Malaga, in southern Spain, has decided to put an end to horse-drawn carriages for tourists due to animal welfare reasons. "It can reach 40 to 45 degrees - it's inhumane to make a horse work like that," says Concordia Marquez, founder of the shelter for mistreated horses.
