"For us, it's over. We will not participate in this farce," declares Michel Beaugas, negotiator for the Force Ouvrière union, after the union decided to leave the discussions on pensions, just minutes after the start of the meeting between stakeholders on the 2023 pension reform. All the unions present were calling for a repeal of the 2023 pension reform and its flagship measure, raising the retirement age from 62 to 64. SOUNDBITE
