Relatives and friends attend a private funeral for Danish-Israeli Itzik Elgarat at his house in kibbutz Nir Oz, in a ceremony marked by criticism of the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Elgarat was among the Israelis held hostage by Palestinian militants in Gaza since October 2023, and died during captivity before his body was handed over to Israel on February 27.
