'Can you imagine, we priests, charged with bringing people to life, and then we wipe them out? It's not me as such, but I'm part of this body. I'm not guilty, but I am responsible', says priest Laurent Bacho, 75, former regional vicar of the Betharramites and head of the listening unit within the congregation. 'I doubted it was possible. But when I saw the reality, the stories, I was convinced,' he says.
