Khaled Alnomman came to Austria 10 years ago. He speaks fluent German and his children -- still little when he fled Syria -- grew up here. The 42-year-old was shocked when, in January, just weeks after the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, he received a letter informing him that a procedure had been initiated to revoke his refugee status.
