Displaced Palestinian widows and orphans find shelter in a camp in Gaza's Bureij, dedicated to housing them after they lost their husbands, fathers and homes during the Israeli war on Gaza. With 50 tents housing over 53 families, the camp provides shelter and basic services. "On International Women's Day, I especially salute the Palestinian woman," says Haneen al-Dura, a Palestinian widow and mother, adding that their "sacrifices surpass those of anyone else".
