French President Emmanuel Macron, hosting Moldovan counterpart Maia Sandu at the Elysée Palace, reaffirms his "unwavering support for Moldova’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity" as they sign a deal to cooperate on detecting digital disinformation. Sandu accused Russia, which launched its invasion of neighbouring Ukraine three years ago, of using the "tools of a modern imperialist".
