Head of Romanian far-right party AUR George Simion submits his candidacy for May's presidential elections after the electoral bureau barred main contender Calin Georgescu from the race. Simion already ran in the November elections and placed fourth, with almost 14 percent of the votes, before the results were annulled. Since then, he has become a vocal supporter of Georgescu.
