"May the name Samuel become the symbol of something other than a tragedy. May it also become a name that is synonymous with projects for young people", says Gaëlle Paty, the sister of the teacher murdered in 2020 by a radical Chechen Islamist, as his school in Conflans-Saint-Honorine, in the Paris region, is officially named after him.
