Description
Water from Lake Berryessa flows into the Morning Glory spillway, a vertical drain leading to Putah Creek in Napa, California. Known locally as the "Glory Hole," the circular spillway is 72 feet in diameter and channels overflow 200 feet straight down through a tunnel, helping regulate water levels at Monticello Dam. IMAGES
