"No teachers, no future," "School occupied, substitutes needed" — protest signs cover the entrance hall of Albert-Einstein School in Ivry-sur-Seine. For days, parents have staged a symbolic occupation to protest the lack of substitute teachers. "This situation clearly highlights the catastrophe and state of the national education system today," says Lu Hua Sarmiento, president of the local FCPE parents' federation. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
