Description
Hamas militants on Sunday released hostages from Thailand and Russia as part of the cease-fire deal with Israel.
The militants also released 14 Israeli hostages, including a girl with American citizenship, as part of the third set of releases.
Red Cross representatives transferred the hostages out of Gaza.
Some were handed over directly to Israel, while one was airlifted directly to a hospital.
Israel was to free 39 Palestinian prisoners later on Sunday as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Gaza Strip, where he spoke with troops, and said every effort was being made to return hostages.
Lorries carrying humanitarian aid also streamed through the Rafah crossing, which separates Egypt and Gaza.
The deliveries were being made on the third day of a four-day cease-fire, which began on Friday, and was brokered by Qatar, Egypt and the US.
A fourth exchange is expected on Monday - the last day of the cease-fire.
