Description
A Freeze Warning has been issued Wednesday morning and will likely be extended until Thursday morning. Low temperatures on Thursday morning will be below freezing for most of the viewing area.
A Freeze Warning means that any susceptible plants may die due to cold temperatures. Covering up plants and vegetation may mitigate the risk!
Check out the full 'Hunter's Supermoon' tonight! It'll be the biggest and brightest moon of 2024. The downside of the full moon is that it may prevent you from seeing comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS! This will be visible in the western sky about 45 minutes after sunset (check it out, as it won't be around for another 80,000 years!). You should be able to see the comet with the naked eye, but binoculars will help.
Clear skies will help you see the moon and comet tonight as high pressure intensifies across the region. Sunny skies are expected through Monday of next week with a weekend warm up! Long-range models keep us dry through the weekend and through most of next week!
