The weather this week will be what you'd expect for early October. Sunny skies with temps in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Sunny skies are expected every day this week through at least Saturday.
Our next chance of rain comes on Sunday as a cold front is forecast to move through the area.
Looking ahead, long range models indicate another surge of warmer air this weekend, which will lead to temps close to 80. After this weekend, models are trending much colder for next week. Despite the calendar saying early October, we are not expecting a frost or freeze anytime soon, but temps will be cooler next week. Our drought is likely to worsen as we aren't expecting much rain in the next 7-10 days.
