What a surprise to find these stories in our archive! Who knew that tarantulas were a hot gift idea for Valentine's Day in the late 1970s? Not me! Dave Cohen was surprised but had no problem with the creatures crawling on his suit. Allison Ross wasn't quite so brave the following year.
