To address and reduce its looming projected $112 million budget deficit, the San Diego Unified School District is hosting a series of workshops. According to San Diego Unified's board president, some cuts will be made in the district's central office. He also says there will be an 'early retirement plan,' that was offered to eligible district employees last month.
