In a rare occurrence, identical twin sisters Brooke and Sarah Miller are both serving as officers in the San Diego Harbor Police Department. The pair, graduates of Poway High School, have found themselves in a unique position as female twins on the police force. Brooke Miller joined the department three years ago, with Sarah following suit a year later. "She was really excited about it, and I was really excited for her," Sarah explained. "She was telling me all the incredible things that she gets to do and see and experience every day, and she kind of just wore me down." While the sisters currently work opposite shifts, they have occasionally patrolled together in the same vehicle. Both agree that their lifelong bond enhances their ability to work as a team.
