After extreme heat in San Diego County, afternoon temperatures have slid by more than 30 degrees compared to this time last week. Now, instead of widespread 90s, most of the county will struggle to make it to even the 70s by the time we reach our high temps. The fall like conditions will coincide with gusty west winds and widespread cloud cover. The clouds will be dense enough to sprinkle/drizzle on some of the county at times this morning and for other mornings to come.
