Caleb Adams, the swimmer bitten in the chest by a shark last week, is now out of the hospital and recovering at home. The 46-year-old North County resident was swimming with a club in Del Mar on June 2 when the shark bit him without warning. “When I saw how bad it was for the first time, I realized I don't want him to see this and so I just tried to cover up with my hand so he wouldn't look down,” said Cameron Whiting who, along with fellow club member Kevin Barrett, heard Caleb's screams for help.
