Twenty-five units of the Delta Apartment buildings were flooded Jan. 22 during the unprecedented San Diego flood. The devastating storm caused families to stay in hotels for months. Now four months later, 20 families returned home and were finally able to move back in.
Mildrey Marino tells CBS 8 in Spanish that she's happy and glad to finally move into her unit after staying with her family in hotels.
On January 22nd water flooded Mildrey’s home, along with her family they stayed in seven hotels during the past months. She's one of 25 families who were displaced from the Delta Apartments.
